The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has issued two important notices dated 04 November 2026 for candidates applying under TGT, Principal and Headmaster recruitment advertisements.
उत्तर प्रदेश शिक्षा सेवा चयन आयोग (UPESSC) ने 04 नवंबर 2026 को TGT, Principal और Headmaster भर्ती से संबंधित दो महत्त्वपूर्ण सूचनाएँ जारी की हैं। इस लेख में दोनों सूचनाओं को उनके मूल भर्ती विज्ञापनों के साथ जोड़कर सरल हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी में समझाया गया है।

The first notice relates to the educational qualification of candidates applying for Assistant Teacher (Graduate Pay Scale / TGT) posts under Advertisement No. 07/2026. The second notice relates to the experience certificate required from candidates applying for Principal and Headmaster posts under Advertisement Nos. 08/2026 and 09/2026.
हिंदीदोनों सूचनाएँ UPESSC, प्रयागराज द्वारा 04 नवंबर 2026 को जारी की गई हैं। पहली सूचना विज्ञापन संख्या 07/2026 के अंतर्गत सहायक अध्यापक (स्नातक वेतनक्रम / TGT) पद की शैक्षिक अर्हता से संबंधित है। दूसरी सूचना विज्ञापन संख्या 08/2026 और 09/2026 के अंतर्गत Principal तथा Headmaster पदों के अनुभव प्रमाण-पत्र से संबंधित है।
ध्यान दें: ये दो अलग-अलग भर्तियों से संबंधित सूचनाएँ हैं। TGT की योग्यता वाला स्पष्टीकरण Principal या Headmaster भर्ती पर लागू नहीं होता और अनुभव प्रमाण-पत्र वाले निर्देश TGT अभ्यर्थियों के लिए नहीं हैं।
3. UP TGT Recruitment 2026 – Original Advertisement Details
Advertisement No. 07/2026 | Assistant Teacher (Graduate Pay Scale)
ENGLISHUPESSC issued Advertisement No. 07/2026 on 23 October 2026 for 17,735 trained graduate assistant teacher posts in aided secondary schools. The detailed advertisement contains the subject-wise educational qualifications, teacher-training requirement and TET condition. Candidates must check the qualification for the particular subject for which they intend to apply.
हिंदीUPESSC ने 23 अक्टूबर 2026 को सहायता प्राप्त माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में प्रशिक्षित स्नातक सहायक अध्यापक (TGT) के 17,735 पदों के लिए विज्ञापन संख्या 07/2026 जारी किया था। इस मूल विज्ञापन में प्रत्येक विषय के लिए अलग शैक्षिक योग्यता, शिक्षक-प्रशिक्षण की अनिवार्यता तथा TET की शर्त दी गई है। अभ्यर्थी को अपने चुने हुए विषय की योग्यता ध्यान से देखनी चाहिए।

4. Original TGT Educational Qualification | मूल विज्ञापन की शैक्षिक अर्हता
ENGLISHThe original advertisement lists 17 subject categories. For most subjects, it provides a graduation route with at least 50% marks in the prescribed subject or subject combination, or a postgraduate route with at least 45% marks in the prescribed subject, as specified in the relevant row.
The advertisement also generally requires an NCTE-recognised B.Ed. qualification. Physical Education has a separate provision for B.P.Ed. or B.P.E. In addition, candidates must pass the Upper Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Government or the Government of India.
हिंदीमूल विज्ञापन में कुल 17 विषयों की शैक्षिक अर्हताएँ दी गई हैं। अधिकांश विषयों में निर्धारित विषय या विषय-संयोजन के साथ न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों सहित स्नातक अथवा निर्धारित विषय में न्यूनतम 45 प्रतिशत अंकों सहित स्नातकोत्तर का विकल्प दिया गया है। यह विकल्प संबंधित विषय की विज्ञापन में दी गई पंक्ति के अनुसार ही लागू होगा।
विज्ञापन में सामान्यतः NCTE से मान्यता प्राप्त B.Ed. की उपाधि भी निर्धारित है। शारीरिक शिक्षा के लिए B.P.Ed. अथवा B.P.E. का अलग प्रावधान है। इसके अतिरिक्त उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार अथवा भारत सरकार द्वारा आयोजित उच्च प्राथमिक स्तर (कक्षा 6 से 8) की TET परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करना भी आवश्यक बताया गया है।

- Hindi: The advertisement also specifies Sanskrit at Intermediate level or Uttar Madhyama from the UP Sanskrit Education Council.
- Social Science: The prescribed combination is any two subjects among History, Geography, Political Science and Economics, subject to the marks route stated in the advertisement.
- Science: Physics and Chemistry are specified in the graduation route.
- Biology: Zoology and Botany are specified in the graduation route.

What exactly has the Commission clarified? | आयोग ने वास्तव में क्या स्पष्ट किया है?
ENGLISH – SIMPLE EXPLANATIONThe new notice relates to candidates under Advertisement No. 07/2026. It refers to the Uttar Pradesh Government Order dated 04 November 2026 and the relevant NCTE notification dated 13 November 2019, which amended the notification dated 23 August 2010.
The Commission has decided to include a proviso in the prescribed qualification. The proviso states that the condition of minimum percentage of marks at graduation level will not apply to those candidates who had taken admission in Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education or an equivalent course before 29 July 2011.
हिंदी – सरल शब्दों में नए नोटिस का अर्थयह नया नोटिस विज्ञापन संख्या 07/2026 के TGT अभ्यर्थियों से संबंधित है। इसमें उत्तर प्रदेश शासन के 04 नवंबर 2026 के शासनादेश तथा NCTE की 13 नवंबर 2019 की अधिसूचना का उल्लेख किया गया है, जिसके द्वारा 23 अगस्त 2010 की अधिसूचना में संशोधन किया गया था।
आयोग ने निर्धारित शैक्षिक अर्हता में एक विशेष परन्तुक जोड़ने का निर्णय लिया है। इसका अर्थ है कि जिन अभ्यर्थियों ने 29 जुलाई 2011 से पहले B.Ed. (शिक्षा में स्नातक), B.El.Ed. (प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा में स्नातक) अथवा समतुल्य पाठ्यक्रम में प्रवेश ले लिया था, उनके मामले में स्नातक स्तर पर न्यूनतम प्रतिशत अंकों की शर्त लागू नहीं होगी।
सबसे जरूरी बात – इसे ध्यान से पढ़ें
यहाँ B.Ed./B.El.Ed. का उल्लेख पुराने प्रवेश की तारीख पहचानने के लिए है। आयोग ने अभ्यर्थियों से अभी B.Ed. या B.El.Ed. में प्रवेश लेने को नहीं कहा है।
In English: The notice is about an earlier admission date. It does not ask candidates to take fresh admission in B.Ed. or B.El.Ed. now.

Example 1 – Before Cut-off Date
A candidate had taken admission in the specified B.Ed., B.El.Ed. or equivalent course on 15 July 2011.
यह अभ्यर्थी निर्धारित तारीख से पहले प्रवेश ले चुका था। वह इस नए प्रावधान के अंतर्गत छूट के लिए विचार किए जाने का दावा कर सकता है, बशर्ते अन्य लागू शर्तें पूरी हों।
Example 2 – After Cut-off Date
A candidate took admission in the specified course on 10 August 2011.
यह प्रवेश 29 जुलाई 2011 के बाद हुआ है। नए नोटिस में दी गई विशेष छूट इस प्रवेश तिथि के आधार पर स्वतः लागू नहीं होगी।
महत्त्वपूर्ण: यह छूट केवल स्नातक स्तर पर न्यूनतम प्रतिशत अंकों की शर्त के संबंध में है। नोटिस में यह नहीं कहा गया है कि विषय की योग्यता, प्रशिक्षण की शर्त, TET या अन्य सभी पात्रता शर्तें समाप्त हो गई हैं।

6. Which TGT Conditions Must Still Be Checked? | अन्य कौन-सी शर्तें देखनी होंगी?
ENGLISHThe new clarification should be read only for the specific graduation marks condition. Candidates must continue to check the remaining requirements in the original advertisement, including the subject-specific qualification, required teacher-training qualification and TET condition.
हिंदीनए स्पष्टीकरण को केवल स्नातक स्तर के न्यूनतम अंकों की शर्त के संदर्भ में पढ़ना चाहिए। अभ्यर्थियों को मूल विज्ञापन में दी गई बाकी शर्तें भी पूरी करनी होंगी, जिनमें विषयवार शैक्षिक योग्यता, आवश्यक शिक्षक-प्रशिक्षण योग्यता और TET शामिल हैं।

आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि और आवश्यक प्रमाण-पत्र जाँचें।
मूल विज्ञापन में TET की तारीख: शैक्षिक अर्हता वाले भाग में 30 जून 2027 तक निर्धारित TET उत्तीर्ण करने का वैध प्रमाण-पत्र अनिवार्य बताया गया है। इस शर्त को मूल विज्ञापन में अवश्य पढ़ें।
7. Principal & Headmaster Experience Certificate Notice 2026
Advertisement No. 08/2026 – Principal | Advertisement No. 09/2026 – Headmaster
ENGLISH – WHAT DOES THE NOTICE SAY?UPESSC has issued a separate notice for candidates applying for Principal and Headmaster posts in non-government aided secondary schools. Some candidates were facing difficulty or delay in obtaining the required experience certificate in the prescribed Appendix-2 format, duly approved or countersigned by the competent authority.
The Commission has allowed such candidates to fill in the required information in the prescribed experience certificate format, get it signed by themselves and the Principal of the concerned school, attach it and submit the application.
However, this is only a facility for submitting the application. At the interview/document verification stage, the candidate must produce the original required experience certificate countersigned by the competent authority.
हिंदी – सरल शब्दों में निर्देशUPESSC ने अशासकीय सहायता प्राप्त माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में Principal और Headmaster पदों के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए अलग नोटिस जारी किया है। कुछ अभ्यर्थियों को निर्धारित Appendix-2 प्रारूप में सक्षम अधिकारी से अनुमोदित/प्रतिहस्ताक्षरित अनुभव प्रमाण-पत्र प्राप्त करने में कठिनाई या देरी हो रही थी।
इस समस्या को देखते हुए आयोग ने अनुमति दी है कि अभ्यर्थी निर्धारित अनुभव प्रमाण-पत्र के प्रारूप में आवश्यक जानकारी भरकर उस पर स्वयं तथा संबंधित विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य से हस्ताक्षर कराएँ और उसे संलग्न करते हुए अपना आवेदन सबमिट कर सकते हैं।
लेकिन यह सुविधा केवल आवेदन जमा करने के लिए है। बाद में साक्षात्कार/अभिलेख सत्यापन के समय सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा प्रतिहस्ताक्षरित आवश्यक मूल अनुभव प्रमाण-पत्र प्रस्तुत करना अनिवार्य होगा।
Application Stage vs Interview Stage
At Application Submission
- Fill the prescribed Appendix-2 format.
- Enter the required experience details.
- Sign it yourself.
- Get the concerned school Principal’s signature.
- Attach it with the application and submit.
आवेदन के समय: निर्धारित प्रारूप भरें, स्वयं हस्ताक्षर करें, संबंधित विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य से हस्ताक्षर कराएँ और आवेदन के साथ जमा करें।
At Interview / Document Verification
- Produce the original experience certificate.
- It must be countersigned by the competent authority.
- Do not rely only on the school Principal’s signature.
साक्षात्कार/अभिलेख सत्यापन के समय: सक्षम अधिकारी से प्रतिहस्ताक्षरित मूल अनुभव प्रमाण-पत्र प्रस्तुत करना अनिवार्य है।
अत्यंत महत्त्वपूर्ण चेतावनी: यदि अभ्यर्थी साक्षात्कार/अभिलेख सत्यापन के समय सक्षम अधिकारी से प्रतिहस्ताक्षरित आवश्यक मूल अनुभव प्रमाण-पत्र प्रस्तुत नहीं करता है, तो उसका अभ्यर्थन निरस्त कर दिया जाएगा। इसके लिए कोई अन्य अवसर नहीं दिया जाएगा।
